LL1670 for PSE output stage

The typical application of the LL1670 grid choke in a push-pull circuit is the use a single grid choke, center tapped, for a pair of tubes. I am building an amp using a parallel single ended output stage and was wondering if the LL1670 could be used the same way although in this case phases are not inverted . It would have occured to me that phase doesn't matter and that this application is just as fine, but any advice would be great.
