Reminds me of a truly miniature TECH TUBE.

Did you ever see one of those things? Very strange cathode, I imagine something similar to the KORG tube. The whole things looked very strange, for that matter.

I tried the TECH TUBE 12ax7s and they did sound good - not using that phono stage any longer.

Doubt we will get to try them unless we buy a device containing one.

Would love to know the heater requirements.
