This a bit overdue but I just wanted to share my positive experience of using this excellent step-up transformer device (with LL1931) to interface with my Haniwa cartridge. This was hunch I had in the summer, when I was pondering replacing my Allnic 1200 phono stage to a Maxed-out. I could not swing that at the time, so I opted to use the Allnic in MM mode and used this Step-up. What a transformation! The timbral richness of instruments, the widening of the sound field and the dynamic shadings were noticeably improved. So if you are like me and not quite ready for a Maxed-out, try this option. You may be pleasantly surprised. Note: I have no affiliation with K&K, just a long-time happy customer! James K
