I couldn't find the cd on youtube. Below is a performance shortly before one that occurred in Paris in November, 1967 that sets the stage. Stunning performances by the group IMO if this is your thing. It's my thing only now and then. Pulled it out this evening. The disk is "No Blues" on the JMY label. It is CD-3 from the Live in Europe 1967 series.

From Tom Madden at Jazz Quarter.

He had it blasting and Tony Williams ripped my head off.

Bought a copy because I didn't want to chance "missing" it and Tom
said the material wasn't on record.

Bought a CD player a few months later.

Far as I can tell the CD has (maybe was now) never been out of print.

Interesting story. Ol' Tom. I remember him well. He even talked to me now and then. A walking talking chain smoking jazz encyclopedia. He was friends with Jessica Williams. Williams is not doing too good health wise. I believe she can no longer play. Where did the time go?
