These are some of my finds that cost a total of $12 yesterday at my local Bellingham music store. I love when that happens.

If so they could be worth something!

Yes......-..all are original including the Pacific Jazz. Guiffre was a total surprise......-.I love his slant on the music.

Most of my Miles are original monos....a few Stereos got in there anyway. I love Jazz in Monophonic form during the 50s and 60s. Right now I'm spinning a 70s reissue of Dexter Gordons recording when he was still on the west coast circa 1950-51.............sweet

Take Care, Tom B.

i had the extreme pleasure of seeing him play in Sherman Oaks CA years ago. exquisite. he was rather a tyrant on the bandstand but that worked.

he related a story where someone was introducing him that had no idea who he was. the guy introduced him as the LOVELY Clare Fischer.

...... as a composer. Art Blakey's Free For All. This is just a wonderful, wonderful arrangement superbly played, from Freddy Hubbard and Wayne SHorter's solos to the whole band...

Blakey's beat is hypnotic - one of his absolutely best tracks.
