Discuss your fave JC recording. He was the last surviving member from Miles Davis' Kind of Blue recording sessions.

In my first jazz band the drummer loved JC. He used to make me listen to the track attached, saying "he can swing like hell just playing time on the ride cymbal". Listen to it - he was right!!

I heard JC with Nat Adderley. Wow - unforgettable. His solos were so totally clean - his timing was perfect. Truly a great drummer who will have his place in jazz history.

Yep, one of my faves too. Cobb/Chambers/Kelly rhythm section with Miles = fantastic! nt, posted on May 27, 2020 at 07:50:19
