How I missed this album over the years. Andy Bey,Dee Dee Bridgewater ,Pat Martino et al, just a fantastic album. Thanks for posting , I just ordered it on Amazon,

I like just two cuts on this recording. Both are dreamily evocative. This one and Sea Journey. Andy Bey before I new who he was. Glad you liked it enough to buy. T456

In fact I only have one under my belt as far as I remember. As per your recommendation I'll check Flora Purims version if it's up on youtube.

Be sure you listen to the best one. She's made several recordings of the tune. Some may not even be on youtube. Gasp.
