I've never heard Cannon's bands from this late a date...never heard him playing that post-Coltrane stuff or the MOR pop-sounding rendition of Black Orifi..I mean, Black Orpheus. Some of it reminds me a lot of what Lee Morgan was playing around the same time. A different take on Cannon's band than I'm used to for sure!

It's WAY in the way.
I see Cannon had changed mouthpieces by then.
In the 70's he changed from King Super 20 to Mark VI.
I liked him ( and Sonny Rollins ) on their King's!
