Thanks for posting.... brought back memories of the day I bought that CD at Tower Records in lower Manhattan. The guy that ran the jazz department lived down the street from Johnny Hartman. He had lots of good stories about all the guys I was buying at the time..... I love Freddie. Ready for Freddie and Blue Spirits are masterpieces.....

...I am constantly amazed at the number of classic recordings I continue to be exposed to for the first time here on this board. I don't think I ever knew this record existed. Wonderful. I'll second (or third) GEO's rec for Ready for Freddie. Several classic tunes on there.
