1. Are the diaphragm assemblies specific for each driver in the 8" Alnico range or are they to some extent interchangeable? I have complete PM4 and PM6 drivers but magnets only for PM7 and PM2.
2. I know I have seen somewhere a drawing outlining the geometry of the current 8" frame, but I just can't find. Does anybody have it?

The PM7A and PM6A have the same cone. (4 bolt pattern)
The PM2A, 5A and 4A have the same cone. (3 bolt pattern)
Some adjustment may be required to get the voice coil centered in the gap. A slight bit of the coil should be visible when properly set. You may need to add/subtract some of the paper washers to make this work.

Of course I have the drawing of the frame. Send an email to jon at lowther dash america dot com and I will forward it to you. That address still works, but not for long.
