these old but good MBGO seem to sound pretty good - bad material is awful - good - nice - I did not like the polypropylene Obbligato motor run oil cooled caps. These don't seem to obscure detail - i have them biased with a 9v battery. Would a 125uF across the woofer improve things? (I don't think there's anything laying around near that value) considering I'm listening to one K-horn off an old Soundblaster card into a Crown XLS - things are pretty good and possible room for improvement from a different DAC and amp

I like the oiler caps a lot. The old GE 97's are best. idlers and tubes....life is good
