Since I got the JBL 5922s the AE\Faital combo needed a new space.

Is that an LTH 142 horn ?
Which compression driver are you using?
Are you able to get down to a 900 Hz crossover ?

The FH144 which does 800hz easily. 400hz for low power applications.

Yes, I'd say 800 Hz is a nice x-over point for that type
of a 2-way.

The off access, measured using a basic RTA, doesn't have a dip at the crossover.

I may try that, They are a bit heavy sounding against the wall. The crossover was designed for different placement. two feet from side walls and three from the front.

Unlikely re the crossover.
Perhaps they purposely made the Boxes Flimsy as well.
