Tod.A, I am fearful of presenting myself as a fussy person, but I suggest that this thread might be interesting to more inmates if you gave us at least a hint regarding what Morricab is right about.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.

Sorry, Don. I was in a hurry this morning and I thought he'd chime in.

Morrican has been extolling the virtues of his Odeon La Boheme loudspeakers. A pair became available near me, so I went to hear them. And indeed picked them up. They're everything he said they were.

Any idea where the crossover point to the tweeter is?

Hey Todd! Congrats on picking up such a great pair of speakers. I was really surprised those stayed on the Asylum Trader for so long... guess no one knew what they were in the US.

Don't forget to try them with a good SET amp next...:)

I actually picked them up off of the local Craigslist, after the price had dropped by about 30%. I didn't find out until later that they had even been advertised on the Trader, and several other places as well. I think you're absolutely right - no one knew what they were. I wouldn't have known either, if it hadn't been for you and tubeguy.

The SET will have to wait, though. It's going to take a while to recover from this purchase...

I just found this out from the factory. It's at 1.8 KHz.

Thanks. Guessing it's an 800hz/600hz horn.
