Anyone familiar with these - just the tweeter unwired - pic shows I think where it goes on the high lpad - but is tweeter polarity reversed?

Anyone familiar with these? Are these high eff.? Some say yes, without tweeters doesn't seem like it.

I would consider them high efficiency, and they normally do come with a tweeter.

Dying to hear them, but I only want to do it once. :O

:) ... I got such a nice pair of tweeters, in place and measuring fine.

They came with excellent guards, I niked one a bit trying to get it to fit but the cut was for tweeter only. I guess persistent prying fingers killed a few of those tweeters ...

Thanks ... I hunted down pic from before the work ... the tweeter is in fact wired in reverse polarity compared to the other three.

They sound quite good, definitely have a distinctive sound, fun to listen.

There is info on these in the Vintage Asylum. You should do a search. Wharfedale made great sounding speakers back then.
