So on the nativedsd.com website, you can search for recordings that are exclusively available as dsd downloads, there are 57 of which are in multichannel. I downloaded the Channel Classics Lalo Symphonie Espagnole recording that I complained about a few weeks back that wasn't being released on SACD. I used foobar2000 to convert it to multichannel 88/24 FLAC, put it on a thumb drive, and played it on my Oppo 93. Actually didn't take all that long to figure it all out, and I have the DSD files on my computer, for a future upgrade to a newer Oppo. Sounded good, although who knows whether it would sound significantly better without the FLAC conversion or on an SACD. I guess I will periodically start to download stuff, particularly if it's not being released on SACD. It would be nice if nativedsd could offer the many Michael Bishop recordings made since Telarc stopped releasing SACD's.

I bought a little dsd decoder from schitt that also has pass-through capability for non-dsd files so it can be placed ahead of your standard DAC.

$100 bucks!
