I have been tweaking things for years, ALA Magnavox CD650. I bought an OPPO 105 a serious do it all player. In the system I thought it was very good and a step up for me. I decided to have Ric mod this to make it so much better. The differences were Large; quieter, more focus, faster, like music. I had the headphone amp modded also and it makes nightime listening so much more enjoyable. I got the all out mod and it sounds organic! There are other mods that are less money, that gives performance a lift. Enjoy!!

I've been watching Ric's work for years. Although I've done some of my own 105 mods (most based on Ric's online suggestions), if I did have someone else mod my player, he would be my first choice.

Ric has always been very generous with his knowledge. The descriptions of most of his mods have always passed the common sense test. His prices are always reasonable; to me, biggest bang for the buck among the other modders, many of whom are simply parts swappers.

With said, I also like what ModWright is doing; just too rich for my blood and I'm slowly moving away from tubes and multi-chassis anything.

With that said, I have never heard one of his modded units, just his suggestions, implemented by myself, which always resulted in easy to hear improvements.

It's about time I sent him a unit to experience the full effect. Your review is very encouraging. Thanks.
