 Today just got my Dire Staits Making Movies SHM SACD.

Have anyone compared this disc with other releases even with the Vinyl ?

The cover of this disc said it has been re-mastered.

I remember I did listen and own the the 45 rpm singles of 'Romeo and Juliet' 35 years ago.

That was a long time ago.

 Like the other titles in the DS SHM-SACD series, Making Movies sounds very good (IMO). I haven't had any other pressings in quite a while, but I recall liking the SACD a lot better than both the original CD and the SBM remaster. That's why I kept it. It's got terrific detail and sounds quite open. I can't help you with comparisons to the vinyl, as I haven't done that format in ages. Fabulous album!

 I have a copy coming, and when it does, I'll compare the SACD to my vinyl version. I'll let you know.
