 Does anyone know how to recalibrate the laser for this player? I have the service manual, but there does not appear to any instructions specifally directed to recalibrating laser tracking.

 Hi,

This is a thread from a message I posted years ago. There wasn't anything here about how to do the recalibration. I have not found anyone regarding my player. Other players, yes, this player, no.

 Sorry - did not look. I did look at hifiengine.com and they do have the service manual. I did not download it (it is free). If you have a problem getting it send me an email and I can download it.

I have the manual, but there is no description of a recalibration process.

contact the Sony Laredo TX shop. Perhaps those guys can give you the info that you are seeking.

 Put in a disc. Press Play, as soon as it loads, turn off the player.Turn it back on.
Laser will be realigned.
