The media has been trying to kill CD for 5 years now, with Stereophile being one of the worst offenders.

Should be due in the post by the end of the week (it was a pre-order).

It also includes with it a DVD-Audio disc as well!

Interesting. the recording in questions (King Crimson's "LA 2014")is ALSO available on 200 gram vinyl...

 Whilst Kal liked the Sony XA5400ES player, I was suprised he ignored its partner AVR Str-DA6400ES as a combo ,via HDMI & HATS for lowest jitter the XA5400ES(UK version with nHATS)) sounds better than the Oppo.
