I got a 49' Active USB Cable ( $20 ), hooked up Korg DS Dac 100, swapped a pair of ICs, and Hey, that was easy! Good bye Teac and Sony Z1! Even Poor-Mans Double DSD is Nice. I'm listening to a Rehearsal I recorded here in Regular 2.8 GH DSD, exported it in 5.6 GH, and I'm loving it! Can't wait to try more Music on it. |

DSD 5.6-MHz is great! I have it in my living room system, too. I just bought a TASCAM DA-3000, which accepts a USB flash drive for playing DSD files directly. It also records in DSD 5.6-MHz and I have recorded two LPs so far. There's just something about DSD that sounds rich like analog. Have you seen the new Mytek Manhattan. It has the capability for DSD (11.2-MHz). Best regards, John Elison |
