I got Ligeti Atmosheres, et al,
and in 24/96.
HD Tracks has it only in 24/44.1.
They have Hi Rez PCM and DSD Titles available.
Check it out!

My only experience with this site is the download of some ostensibly 24/96 files of Mehta conducting some Schönberg (Verklarte Nacht and the First Chamber Symphony). Check out the link below (First movement of the Chamber Symphony) for some not very good looking high frequencies (or lack thereof!). Poor old Arnold!

EDIT: BTW, thanks for posting about this, because I downloaded these files months ago and had forgotten about them. Your post gave me the impetus to write to Highresaudio support to get their comments on this situation - I'll post an update if I get an interesting reply.)

Thanks Chris, that will be great, thanks. nt, posted on August 4, 2014 at 18:19:46

I'm so sorry - I got a reply back from hiresaudio.com indicating that they couldn't find the recording I was referring to. I checked a little further, and I had actually downloaded the Mehta/Schönberg files from hd-klassik.com - not hiresaudio. I'm so embarrassed for impugning the reputation of hiresaudio just because of my own confusion! I did send them an apology e-mail, but I wanted to be sure that I posted here too. Once again, my bad - not theirs!

the Ligeti/Finnish Radio Orch on Ondine is fantastic, IMO, and recommend it on all possible counts, and would like to hear what others think of it!

First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass

The link isn't taking me to the album, and it doesn't come up when I search on 'Ligeti' on the site. Perhaps they removed it???
