Cheap and cheerful DAC ... Anybody tried it?

Here is something I came across recently and could not simply dismiss out of hand. Has anybody checked out this site and gone through the menus to PRODUCTS > Boxes (Stand Alone) > DAC 2/4 CH.

For $366.00 (USD) they have a 24/96 DAC that uses PCM 1704 (K series) and OPA 627 op amps. This little box takes I2S or S/PDIF.

What a cheap and cheerful little box (if the product lives up to the parts used.)

Even though I am firmly entrenched on the SACD bandwagon, this little beasty may find itself into my system, if for no other reason than to play DAD disks off of my old Pioneer DVD player (not DVD-A) and to provide a really cheap upgrade for my CD player. All that is probably needed is a jitter reduction box (E.G. Parts connection D2D-1 or Perpetual Technology P1-A), as I don't expect greater jitter numbers, but then who knows?

If anyone has experience of this DAC; I would love to hear about it.
