I visited Tower in San Fransisco. Their rock/pop shop weren't able to help as any SACDs would be in the racks, so no good there. BUT across the road in the classical shop a quick question resulted in their SACDs being splayed across the counter. My VISA card got hit.

Acoustic Sounds were able to send my selection of rock and pop to my hotel, again another hit on VISA.

Now I am back and have a nice pile of SACDs to play once everything has warmed up and I have got over jet lag. Ooh what fun...

There seems to have been no movement on the rumour I picked up before leaving that Bridge over troubled water was due to be released as SACD or that some Beatles stuff would be out in the new year. Must have been bad info.
