According to this thread at The Fire Theft's website, the soundtrack for The United States Of Leland is probably not going to be released. If you saw the movie, you probably noticed the Frank Black, Pixies, and Jeremy Enigk tunes, but apparently there were also new songs from Tobin Sprout, Robert Pollard, and others.

However, a promo CD containing the Enigk songs was released, and a kind person ripped it's tracks to MP3 and posted them here, available for download. It's really a shame that these songs aren't going to get a commercial release, because "Ballroom Blitz" (no, it's not a cover) by itself is enough to justify one.

Also, for those who might wish to lodge their displeasure about the soundtrack being nixed, you can go here and do so.
