My son is looking for a quality headphone set that is over the ear for his Ipod and MP3. Is there a headphone that is reasonable priced and is a good match for the Ipod or MP3 players. He also wants the kind that block out the room sound and the sound doesn`t bleed from them. Any help is appreciated.

I recently received a gift of the Sennheiser 428 HD headphones and after 30
hrs of break-in listening I am very satisfied. They are light and comfortable. The neutral sound may be the best feature about these cans.
I can wear these cans for 2 hours of critical listening and forget I
have them on. The bass gets stronger after break-in period, but not too
strong, neutral and good soundstage. I highly recommend these Mid-Fi cans
for less than $100.00 after the holidays, Cheers,Alan in sunny Seadrift

The Shure SRH240-A would be hard to beat for super effective isolation and reasonable sound for around $70.

Decided to go for the Klipsch Reference ONE, my son has their Klipsch Image S4 earbuds and is very happy with their sound so it was a logical choice. Amazon.ca had them on sale for $115.00

Grado SR 60 is usually a great sounding headphone for under $ 100 and are easily driven by most mp3 players without a portable amp.

I am not sure about the budget, but cheap ones are below $50 for over ear headphones. Not sure as well if you like it wired or wireless, but here are the best suggested headphones for an mp3 player or iPhone: http://www.headphonesunboxed.com/best-over-ear-headphones-under-50/. Well, Sennheiser is not bad at all if you'll ask me.
