Got a weird message about an Audiogon update and a purging of members that don't use it. It's a scam to get your credit card number.

I posted it here because no one goes to SCAMS...

I received one as well....not the first time. I deleted it, of course. It's a similar scam to many that imitate banks and financial institutions. Some look pretty authentic, mimicing actual sites.

"Account suspended, but I never had one with them. "

Had one like that supposedly from Paypal. I never had a Paypal account. Know why ? Because of their password rules for one. Must contain this and that, almost as if they WANT you to let your browser store it. Fact is, tey have gotten so ridiculous that simple passwords are probably secure. I can see a scammer sitting there "no way, his password can't be 111111". Of course brute force will crack it, but brute force will also crack

I got a million dollars from Mr Hainsworth Gibblestrom III Jr. the lawyer for the prince last year... and all I had to do was send hime 50,000 for the transfer.

The good news is I can get everyone that sends ME $50.000 the contact information.
