This one hit me hard. An Englishman posted on a friend's Facebook page:

"I don't know what we've done to annoy 2016, but it can bugger off already."

And provided a gateway to enjoying classical music.

I'll be playing some tonight.

I believe in Father Christmas.

He was one of my favorite vocalists and lyricists. I just finished listening to "Return of the Manticore." It's funny but later in his life he lost his British accent when singing, but I will always remember him best with it.

RIP.

Was Keith's O-scope a normal part of his equipment?. Fine tune waveforms?.

I'm sorry to learn of his passing.

Pictures At An Exhibition was such a tour-de-force of sound and musicianship, I bought into classical music the day after listening to their rendition for the first time. Wow, they were in tune. Syncopation between Palmer and Emerson was like nothing Id seen before in concert and Lake was a wholly under appreciated bassist. Great band, great memories.
