I have a bunch of ~$800 Tekline Power cords (with very high quality m/f plugs), and ONE WireWorld Electra 7, which is ~ half the MSRP of the boutique cable.

WW is a totally different animal in wiring design and execution- molded male and female plugs. I broke the WW in on my video system. I then placed the WW on my newly purchased and broken in Emerald Physics SE100.2 amp (love it)

I immediately liked the improvement the WW made, and have done 100+ hours of listening that way, but of late I got the idea to hear what it would do on my source (Oppo 105).

Last night I decided to swap PCs between my WW Electra 7 power cord between my amp and the Oppo 105D, thinking being closer to the source I would gain some sonic benefits.

Some, did I say SOME?

Holy crap. This tiny tweak (is it a tweak?) has brought me much closer to the recording venue

Now I need 4 more WWs

Wrong title. (spending big $$$ would be more like it), wrong forum. Try ""Cables"" nt, posted on April 27, 2016 at 07:10:14

The 4th line doesn't make sense to me. nt, posted on April 27, 2016 at 07:26:47

HiOnFi-

I,too, like WW. In fact, I have heard the Electra7 and really enjoyed it.
I have auditioned a WW interconnect. I use the WW Silver Starlight 5.2 HDMI and it is excellent. Only bettered by the Platinum models.

I've been using Volex 17604 power cords..... Maybe if you send me a WW Electra 7, I can find out if it's $400 better...... [-;

I am even more amazed as unplugging a digital player and amp apparently requires more time to stabilize then I imagined.

Last night I listened to Patricia Barber's Companion. None of my systems could handle the extreme dynamics in the upper frequencies. Far from being a problem last night. It soared endlessly and at quite a loud volume, one that I could not approach when the cables were reversed!

Last night ended with Sinatra Live at the Sands. I have listened to this on many system iterations in my home. Last night was the best it has ever sounded

Yesterday I added 2 more WW Electra 7s. I decided for fastest break-in to put them on the subs. While not revelatory, there was definitely more air for the music to breath and extend

This morning I swapped them with the 2 @ $600 Tekline PCs taken from the preamp and amp. Now all 3 components closest to the source have WW E7s

Using milk flavor designations: with the Teklines (which have been in my system for 3+ years) it was like non fat milk BY COMPARSION.

Replacing one with a WW Electra 7, the sound became more like 2%, and with 4 E7s, its like grass-fed unpasteurized milk- rich in flavor, and good for the body

These are ridiculous bargains. I would hope any retailer would give you a money back guarantee, definitely try them
