Roughly 15 years ago......

Turned out to be a gimmick.... The owner of the house bought a product called "Eagle Shield", which had this sort of control.... He later found out it was running both the furnace and air conditioner simultaneously, sending his utility bills through the roof..... He promptly had a "normal" thermostat reinstalled, things were back to normal. (I think he was in litigation with the company that marketed the gimmick thermostat, but never found out the outcome.)

The Dart amps sound velvety smooth, quiet, transparent & sweet sounding. This is my favorite control on the preamp..
