I forgot to mention,most on line sales usually can not be sold unless there is no dealer a certain radius from where you live! They do protect the B&M dealers!

excluding models closer to the top of line beginning with the Quartro through Model 7 mkii and various subs and home theatre speakers. Looks like the same deal MD has with Esoteric excluding their top of the line models in DACs, disc players, etc. Actually, I think its a good thing to make the entry level models available through vendors like MusicDirect.com. Many folk seeking products at the lower price points don't have access to a B&M carrying the line and generally are not motivated to travel longer distances to audition entry level models.
