I would imagine they reflect sound just like they reflect the tv screen. I have some table top books that I arrange on my table to diffuse the reflections. Makes a noticeable difference in my room.

those tables and the television would reflect, I decided to keep my mouth shut but since you said something I think that is a bad idea as well (having tables and the television in there).

But it is a compromise to have the system in the family room. I don't like the man cave thing,
