I just set up my son with a Nait 5i (no dash 2, this was older) and a pair of Dynaudio Excite X12's monitors. Sounds great.

But I was told by someone that the Spendor A3 might be a great match if you want a floorstander.

Amps have a real signature, but most of a sysytem's sound (I said most, not all, so no flames)is due to the coloration/sound of the speakers. I think you should do some listening and narrow the field. ie pick the speakers first!

Naim amps are very flexible in what they can power. I've had that amp and other Naims and powered everything from small stand-mounts to towers to Magnepans.

What are your priorities sound-wise? Soundstage, tone, bass?
What kind of music do you like? If you tell me that I can go back from there, at least in terms of what kind of speaker.

Wilson Duette, WATT and DeVore standmounts or their high sens. Orangutan series would do nicely, too.

Obviously I would like to have all you mentioned but taking the room size into account a tighter slightly leaner bass is more welcome.
I have tried the amp with some sharper sounding speakers and it was too much as the amplifier has a lively vibrant sound. Some have suggested Dynaudio's but I found them not so compatible impedance wise, Rega-too lean, B&W-too shut in, Monitor audio-reserved f.i.
I mostly listen to jazz, classic rock, old progressive rock and some classical. Thanks for helping.

Both will deliver much joy with a Nait.

the Response 1s is a Proac, but the Epos recommendation is a good one as well. Nt, posted on August 28, 2015 at 19:39:18

Ooops. Meant to say ProAc. Epos ES11s would work well too., posted on August 28, 2015 at 19:47:40

Epos ES14s would need a NAP 250 to power them effectively.

try locating Naim SBL or Allaes..., posted on August 29, 2015 at 22:31:38

They'll work great in a 10' x 15' room up against the wall for SBL, about 10-12" in for Allaes.
For SBL, you'll need a decent source to shine but Allaes would be a bit more forgiving of poor source. ( minimum 3.5 m of NACA 5 is recommended )

If budget allows, Nait 5i-2 can also drive DBL in that size room. ( I've heard it. Rather impressive! ) I was particularly surprised that it had a pretty good handle on the 15" ATC bass drivers. ( much better than driving ATC standmounts for sure )

As long as your speakers are efficient, they will work. My listening space is 11ft wide x 14ft long x 8ft ceiling, and I am using two different pairs of speakers, and either one will give you a deep soundstage.

My room isn't that much bigger and I use Proac D25's with my Naim gear.
There are smaller floor standing Proac's that are very nice. I'd stay away from the Tablet's unless you get a SW. Proac's are great imaging speakers and sound very nice as well. You won't be able to place them next to the wall like Naim's speakers.
