Amazing stats. All of our channels are similar. More under the age of 44 than over it. The 25 to 34 age group is really strong. Remember, we don't do headphones or home theater. Two channel is alive and very well, thank you.

I totally agree. The are many sites that cover headphones and some even in video. We decided to review and cover what we are expert at, as my dad used to say (when naming trump in cards), "son, choose your longest and strongest."

Channel stats for AVShowrooms' AVShowreports youtube channel. We have four channels and this is our most popular, followed next by AVEquipmentreviews. It is mostly global audio show coverage and some company tours. Shows include:

Only 7 percent females.

That's another reason to not go to "high end" audio shows.

Yes, but that is a very high quality, educated, pre-screened female class.

The Asian markets have been mostly driving the high-end audio industry in recent time..... (As well as the headphone market in all parts of the world.) Mainly because there hasn't been a spoonfeeding of prefab pop to the masses over there......

The exposure to good new music is the lifeblood of the audio hobby. And it will come back here if the masses discover enough music outlets alternative to what has been spoonfed to them by the network media.

Peter, aren't these stats more a demographic statement about who spend the greatest amount of time on Youtube, than of high performance audio?

No offense, but there is an old saying about statistics...

Recent times, try 20 yrs and counting , hi-end Audio in the USA has been running on rigor mortis from as far back as 94, it limped along into the millennium on the Home theater hype..
