Steve Hackett DVD - Royal Albert Hall

After hearing the sad news that Jack Bruce passed away last month I payed tribute to the man by listening to his music and watching the 2005 Royal Albert Hall concerts on DVD, a masterpiece of both sight and sound (if you don't have the DVD I 'highly' recommend it).

My girlfriend was watching the concert with me that weekend and got the bright idea to see what other DVD releases were available at the RAH and bought the recently released Steve Hackett DVD (I'm a huge fan of early Genesis). So if you're like me and enjoy early Genesis and Steve's contribution to the band then this DVD is a must have, I thought Cream's DVD was as good as it gets but this is right up there with it.

Thanks Rachel!

Looking forward to seeing him revisit Genesis in December as part of his 2014 world tour!

This is a DVD of a concert recorded on 3rd April 2004 at Petofi Casrnok, Budapest. It has Dolby Digital 2 channel and 5.1 channel audio tracks. I haven't had a chance to view this yet, I'll try to get to it this week and post a review.

I saw Hackett on a solo tour of his many, many moons ago - he was fantastic! Truly one of the greatest guitar players I've ever seen, and I've seen some good ones...
