I was on a Facebook page yesterday named "Boat Porn". It's a very active page with 1000s and 1000s of cool boat pics and 15,000+ likes. Soooo.... why not an Audio Porn Facebook group.

Anyway, it's up on Facebook and getting traction. Please post only the best audio eye candy. It's 100% for fun. Please no overly commercial posts or real porn. It's for pics and vids that have an audio component featured.

Don't we already have a place to view this type of thing?
Your own AV Show Reports as well as "What's Best".

it's simply not worth whatever may be there.

If you aren't quite noticing or accepting what is really going on in the present,
but are responding based on your thoughts or feelings about what ought to be,
then you are apt to collide with what is really going on.

Were you involved in starting it? nt, posted on April 7, 2014 at 08:59:13

Screw Facebook. They sell all of your info to the NSA, and I'm not a conspiracy theory black helicopter nutcase. Don't believe that? Check it out for yourself if you're not either too lazy or severely addicted to "social media".

occasionally a non-solicited little message from FB appears asking if you'd like to "share."
Of course, FB reserves the right to spy on every place you go w/out asking.
Sorry, but FB goes where the paranoids who see black helicopters everywhere haven't even imagined. I guess if it's the private sector it's okay?

subject oneself to the Pandora's Box of Facebook.

Heck, I've even viewed some it here at AA!

If government or big companies want to know everything about you they will. Just spoke to an ex military fellow. They point a laser at the windshield of your car - the glass vibrates and they can hear everything you are saying. Then from a plane high up out of site they can fire weapons that will vaporize your car.

And you're worried that Facebook can track you for advertising purposes - personally I'd rather have adverts cater to me - I'd much rather have Marantz and Nikon ads pop-up over Tampax and lady Speedstick.

Indeed, the more crap everyone pukes up on Facebook the more "noise" is created and the more difficult it is for them (whoever they are) to find whatever you're trying to not let them find.

It's not possible to agree more than completely (100 percent).

It's equally ridiculous when athletes or commentators say they're giving "110 percent".

Thank you,

I wanted to create a Facebook destination that was for "eye audio candy" only. I will not brand AVShowrooms on any post and I have put on the "watch list" those that desire inordinate views to their own audio company or audio website. Others are free to boost cool porn pics though of said equipment. Figure the names out for yourself :)

Thank you for saying what I've been yelling at the TV for so many years. Sadly, it will have about as much affect as my vocalizations toward the TV.
