Does the Ella come with a choke in the PSU?

Also are the output transfomers toroidal? Just trying to get a handle on my choices.

There is a choke option. It requires cutting a trace on the PC PCB and moving the main PS cap onto the chassis. Or another PS PCB is available that accommodates the choke connection and cap but sacrifices the B+ delay relay.

The OPT are EI core. Only the covers are round to match with the round cover over the torroid PTX.

I guess that I could install a second power switch for the heater supply and use the optional board. Is it the same way with the Joplin? Thanks.
