If you plug in the length (time) of a song or entire album, the sheet will display the file size in 16/44.1, 16/48, 24/48 and 24/96. I was prompted to make the sheet when I wanted to make sure I got the download I paid for. There were some plug-ins on the 'net, but none that showed all 4 at a glance.

Unfortunately you can only upload pics on AA. If anyone is interested in a copy, just PM me and I can email the spread sheet as a zipped file. (I've attached a pic.)

Pretty plain Jane and hopefully not buggy. I can tweak it a bit if there is any interest and input.

Cheers!

I'm curious about the time you input of 59-minutes and 60-seconds. That is an odd amount of time because it is simply equal to 60-minutes and zero-seconds. Did you intend to input 60-minutes and 59-seconds instead? That would be more logical.

Best regards,
John Elison

The "problem" with this type a calculations is they are only useful if the file is in a uncompressed lossless format like WAV or AIF.
My downloads are in general in FLAC.
To verify if I do get the right bit depth and sample rate, I use my media player.
This of course will tell you only if the download does have the right bit depth and sample rate.
Not to be mistaken for the source :)

Yes. Only for checking files after uncompressed in lossless format.

Cheers!

I knew what the total bytes for 1 hour should equal for each variable. To test both the minute and seconds cells I entered numbers that would add up to an hour.

Satisfied that it was behaving as it should, I happened to leave those values in for the screen shot.

Cheers!
