Unplug it from the ac for about 10 minutes. Then plug it in and try it. This works for their tv's. Don't know why though.

Did your HDMI cable get jostled? You might try re-seating it [nt], posted on January 19, 2017 at 00:35:47

Several years ago I returned from out of town and found that I lost all four HDMI inputs to my Samsung 650 series 52" LCD panel. Neighbors told me there was a lightning hit nearby during a violent thunderstorm while I was away. I have AT&T U-verse and the storm also took out the Gateway controller/modem and the DVR.

After doing some research I discovered that HDMI boards are very sensitive to voltage variations especially in that model Samsung. I also found I had a loose ground wire where the signal cable enters my house.

The entire HDMI circuit board would need to be replaced at a significant cost. I never had the Samsung repaired and chose to use the component inputs until the panel was replaced a year ago with a Vizio M65-C1.

The loose ground has since been secured. I also added a ZeroSurge 2R20W-GDR Filter/Surge Protector.

the 10 minute thing worked! thanks so much! I had unplugged it for 30 seconds before, it did nothing, posted on January 19, 2017 at 14:07:10

I am a bit nervous and frustrated now but for $99 for a 24" screen I am OK with an occasional glitch. If it dies completely I will not be happy...

fyi this is the model number so buyer beware:

Samsung S24E310HL 23.6-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

I'm glad it worked. The power supply takes quite a while to drain down. It needs to be at near zero before things will reset.

Our LG TV in the guest bedroom was working 100% fine with the Comcast cable TV box over HDMI for nearly two years. It was plugged into HDMI Input-1.

I just purchased a Blu-ray player and AppleTV box for the guest bedroom and rerouted the HDMI cables through the drop-down AV drawer in the dresser just below the wall mounted TV. This required unplugging and replugging the HDMI cables.

The LG TV kept displaying "No Signal" on HDMI Input-1. The cable TV box was securely plugged into HDMI Input-1. I fought with this for a while but no luck.

I finally decided to power everything OFF for a few minutes then power it all back UP. It worked! Weird.
