I let mine lapse for a few months and got the "Professional Discount Offer" for $8.00 a year or $14.00 for two years for 24 issues. For $.58 an issue, I went for 2 years, not a bad deal at all.

I subscribe to the digital services where the rate is a no brainer.

JA and his crew do a splendid job in today's market. Only if TAS returned to its roots that HP set long ago...

I feel extremely blessed as both Harry and John Cooledge were mentors to me since I was a teenager. Their vast knowledge of music and audio left a lasting mark on me in many ways.

And while they were good friends, their opinion often differed given their individual priorities. Which is what I miss most in reviewing today - multiple voices sharing their perspectives on a single component. I appreciate the challenges that approach required, but always thought that yielded the best results for the reader.

On the other hand, I am more technically oriented that either of them and appreciate your suite of measurements that TAS never provided - even if they only tell a part of the story.

Keep up the good work, continue to exercise the patience of Job for many who don't appreciate your efforts and have a Happy New Year!
