Some time ago there was a survey on three best symphonies. Where are some of the results. I counted the votes :-) - Symphonies voted for 1st place: 1. Beethoven 9 with 7 votes - Symphonies voted for 2nd place: 1. Beethoven 6 with 3 - Symphonies voted for 3rd place: 1. Beethoven 5 Symphonies overall: 1.Beethoven 9with 10 - Composers voted for 1st place: 1.Beethovenwith 14 - Composers voted for 2nd place: 1.Beethovenwith 8 - Composers voted for 3rd place: 1.Beethovenwith 11 - Composers overall: 1.Beethovenwith 33 (uf!) I did count the votes. You don't have to trust me :-) Does anyone want to make the country classification? Perhaps Beethoven did beat the Austrians :-)
