I know that most, if not all of you really dislike the forte piano and concede that often the music sounds better on a modern instrument BUT urge overcoming of preducices to listen this delightful album by Trio Goya. To these old ears the forte piano has never been better placed as the Beethoven trios come through enchantingly.

What can be more subjective than music? It reflects our personal tastes and preferences.

Some of my favorite LPs are original Harmonia Mundi pressings of Beethoven sonatas. I also listen to Beethoven on modern piano. I find it quite interesting and informative to listen to the fortepiano version.

Enjoy the music.
