This could be the next great flutist...... Performing Faure's "Fantasy"..... This is a "warhorse" piece for the flute (there are YT videos of James Galway and Emmanuel Pahud performing it), there is almost a "Jean Pierre Rampal" character to his playing. I don't know if he's related to Hiroaki Kanda (NHK Symphony principal)..... The last name is quite common in Japan, kind of like "Jones" in the English speaking world..... (Yuya plays more "intense," Hiroaki seems "laid back" by comparison. Hiroaki plays a wood flute, Yuya plays the common metal instrument.) Yuya has put out a plethora of videos on YouTube..... Maybe the most of any flutist in recent time. Enjoy!
