From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

Apparently The Telegraph in England has published an article (I haven't seen it myself) wherein they report that Presto Classical has noted that classical downloads are noticeably UP over the last couple of months. Good news? (Probably understandable in any case.) It reminds me that last month, there was a thread on the General Asylum here, where the consensus among posters was that high-end audio sales are also UP during this Covid period. I think that most of us on this board are very fortunate that we have the means to spend money on these pursuits, while so many are desperately trying just to find something to eat or a place to live. (One of our kids was laid off in April, and his severance and savings will probably run out in December, so I know whereof I speak. Of course, he's very fortunate in that he can get support from us until he's employed again - many do not have that option.) |
