I've read a couple of rather favorable professional reviews of these, but wondering if anybody has had any personal experience using them? They appear to have a rather unique architecture and use OCC copper, although it's a bit unclear as to the dielectric.

I needed some relatively low priced xlr ice's so took a chance on these.
Compared to what I had (Nogami) going to a Violectric head amp, then to Focal Utopias, from Audio Note DAC, these were a huge step up. Very smooth, open, enjoyable. given the $110 cost of the Nogamis and the $230 cost of the Venom's, grate bang for the buck upgrade. The V200 had been sitting there as other amps have left it behind (GSXMk2, T3, Peak) but it is now back in the rotation.

I then took a chance on the RCA's, because I wanted a sturdy set of cables (lots of plugging and unplugging in the headphone world).

In this case, the competition was Synchestra Signature and Silver Reference. Result... I will take my chances swapping the delicate IC's.
