 Hi guys,

Has anyone tried this speaker cables ? I tried it and was surprised how big change this cable can do for one's system .I had auditioned it a couple of time in other's system and was not impressed .but when I tried it in my system I was surprised how good it was. I compared to my MIT and my friend's Transparent ultra and was surprised how good this cables are. It was like a major speaker upgrade. I'm not much of a believer regarding ultra expensive interconnect & speaker cables ,but these cable changed my mind.

I like the sound of Synergistic Research Apex speaker cables. There are so many excellent designers that it is frustrating auditioning cables, but then so rewarding when a cable suddenly makes that magic improvement to a system.

Congratulations on finding that special cable for your system.

I have found the Synergistic Research Black fuses and SR Black wall outlets to make a big improvement in three different systems. I think they are worth the effort to audition. I hope you will give them a try. They have a 30 day return policy.

 Hi David ,

Thank you very much for your reply . I was really surprised w/ the dramatic improvement these cables made to my system . They are pricey back in the day ( $6500 USD for an 8 foot pair back in 2009 ) . It's really is a game changer for me . I hope one day I ca n try the SR Fuses . I've heard they give a bang for the buck improvement .

Your welcome Fantja, I hope Synegistic research will be a good match for your system . I myself was surprised it matched w/ mine . In my friends system when I heard it was hyper detailed / analytic in another system I heard nothing special about it and these speaker cables (TESLA APEX cost $6750 back in 2010) are expensive and I said to myself what's the fuzz was all about . But when I heard it in mine , it's like a major upgrade, like changing a Phono Cartridge.

Very nice picture. What amplifier is that? My tube amps have had a big sonic improvement with the SR Black fuses installed.

Very impressive. Several Audio Research users have reported excellent sonic improvements after installing the SR Black fuses and the SR Black A/C wall outlets. Also Oyaide makes a nice wall outlet stabilizer that has a carbon fiber faceplate (Oyaide WPZ). I found this to also be of benefit.

Congratulation on finding a speaker cable that really has taken your system to a more enjoyable level.

 Thanks David will try those fuses from SR , I hope it's available in the Philippines. I hope they have appropriate rating fuse for my ARC. We're should I start / were is the biggest effect in the Phono Stage , linestage or at the amp ?

I would start at the amplifier as the first fuse to replace. They do sound better right out of the box but take about 100 hours to fully settle in. They do sound very good at the 10 hour mark.
If you E-mail Synergistic Research they can tell you if they have a local distributor for your country.

I think you will be very happy with the fuse change.
