I'm on a tight budget and welcome comments or experiences comparing a JPS Labs Digital AC-X to a DIY VH Audio Flavor 1 (I already have Neotech connectors I can use) and/or any of the following listed ones. This would be used on my TEAC CD-1000 CD player which I'm using as a transport for my Micromega Mydac. I've tried various combinations including an Audioquest NRG-2, Wireworld Electra 5.2 and Electra 7, Gutwire B12, and Neotech 3003. The Gutwire tames the digital glare best, but at some expense to staging/dynamics. I'm particularly curious about the VH Audio as to how it may compete against any of the aforementioned since the only expense I would incur is buying the wire at low costs. |
