I think I will recycle what I already have, though.

$6,899.75

Besides, I never trust weird prices.

The reviews are hilarious!

I have to admit that even though I'm certifiably audio insane I find the price of that AQ cord to be beyond stupid....

LOL....I can buy a store full of Home Depot extension cords, as power cords, for my DIY amplifiers for that kind of money.
Now if it made coffee also..............................................

Well, I am actually interested in a review of NRG-X3 and X2, posted on July 4, 2016 at 10:34:15

Before deriding these power cords, I do find that they often help and, sometimes, they help quite a LOT.

I have an old Audioquest power cord that is out of production now, evidently, and I remember it only costing about $35 or so, and that is why it is only 0.6 meters long (because I didn't want to spend anymore).

I always rated it as an average upgrade easily bettered by other power cords. I also have a Pangea AC14 power cord that I was using. A lot depends upon the particular application, I understand now. Damn, my DAC is doing so much better with the audioquest now. So, I was looking for another one!

I am also an AQ fan and have NRG 4s on my power amps. I also have Pangea on my my Marantz SACD player and that made a nice bump in performance.

I've realized it's a crap shoot, there is no "better" and many components
sound most balanced with their stock cable (if there is one).

This is what I do: email the manufacturer, find out what they use when they developed the component, and use that.
