Would anyone here be able to provide any information regarding these biwire cables? The jackets bear no identifying label. Perhaps they are homemade? (Sorry for the poor photograph). Thanks, Steve.

It appears to be a homemade build, perhaps a DIY project inspired by Kimber 8TC speaker cable, with unknown wire type and quality.

Nice braid job. Are there 4 or 8 conductors braided. Is the wire cloth-covered, or just dusty pvc?

8 conductors. There is no covering other than dusty pvc.

I'd replace or at least really clean the bananas and strogly consider retermination with freshly stripped back wire. Those bananas look tired.

There were a number of braided DIY builds. Some with Cat 5 wire commonly used in Ethernet cables. There would be five or more wires inside.

I am no help then. It looked sort of like DIY from old WE wire but if it is pvc covered then it is something else, but a nice braid job nonetheless.
