Hi ! i have had a previous experience with Cardas 300B rca ics ... and loved their midrange. Now i have some dacs with balanced outs to test. One of the biggest problem for me with digital is the hard flat dry and sometimes harsh midrange. I can quite understand people who likes tubes with digital just to say. In order to give more body to the midrange i have bought (hoping that are not fakes) a pair of Cardas HEXLINK GOLDEN 5-C XLR on ebay.com. Will these Cardas HEXLINK GOLDEN 5-C XLR give a better midrange with digital ? Any other xlr with similar impact on sound (i.e. tube like xlrs) ? Thanks a lot in advance for any advice/suggestion.
