On the left, a power cord that supposedly uses Oyaide P/C-079 plugs.

On the right, picture of Oyaide P/C-079 plugs from Oyaide web site.

If I'm off base, and there are different versions - by all means, please let me know.

No "different versions"....the connectors on the cable are NOT Oyaide. [nt], posted on January 21, 2015 at 12:40:53

Just like I thought. For slight amusement, read their Audiogon ad:, posted on January 21, 2015 at 12:46:23

"The Ref4 SP is the result of a special purchase of Oyaide P-079 and Oyaide C-079 power connectors. These are some of the highest quality A/C plugs on the planet. They generally retail per pair for what we are selling the complete cable. Without this special purchase, we would be selling these cables for well over $275. Take advantage of this purchase while you can. They will not last forever."

Yeah right...

Shipping method is stated as USPS. Shipping from Colorado Springs, CO.

Way near the bottom, it states:

"They will ONLY ship on Sundays. If this is a problem, please do not purchase."

REALLY? Since when does the post office pick up on Sundays?

I'll give the seller credit for offering a "special" version of the ubiquitous fake Oyaide AC connectors flooding the marketplace.

Someone should report this clever sales shenanigan to Audiogon.

In the last decade plus, I pretty much never follow audiogon.

Went to the trouble of verifying the email & password I had registered with them to report this issue.

If nobody else does, and the item(s) is/are not taken down - guess that will give me even less of a rat's backside to care what happens there.

I did too. N/T, posted on January 23, 2015 at 18:56:57

reading the ad: The wire is 99% pure copper. not 99.9% etc.. LOL, posted on January 24, 2015 at 15:12:33
99% pure copper is really very poor quality copper. amazing.
